For pet professionals or anyone working with animals, knowing pet CPR and first aid is of the utmost importance. Unfortunately, very few people are certified instructors, so it’s challenging to find hands on, in-person classes to learn these crucial skills.

Noticing the lack of options to learn locally, I chose to take a 16-hour certification course through ProPetHero. This course taught me everything there is to know about pet first aid and CPR, and gave me the tools to pass that knowledge along to others. Since taking the course in early 2024, I have taught numerous classes and certified almost 30 people working in the pet care industry. I strongly believe that it is our duty as pet professionals to know how to act in an emergency, and I’m proud to have been able to share that knowledge with others in the community.
